A Wet Afternoon

We snatched Matt after he got home from class this afternoon and headed over to Meijer Gardens. We haven't been to see the butterflies for a few weeks and wanted to see what was new over there. We got to see the huge atlas moth today. Anna still would rather be outside in the play area than indoors looking at butterflies, so we didn't spend too much time inside.
We were surprised once we got outside to see the Great Lakes display filled with water and some other fountains flowing. It didn't take Anna long to run over to the water and then get completely soaked. Thankfully it was a beautifully warm and sunny afternoon (and that I had an extra pair of pants in the car for her to wear home). We're really looking forward to spending more time there when the weather really warms up!
