After months of watching the weather and tide charts, Matt was very excited that today brought low tides at around noon today (as opposed to in the wee hours of the morning). We packed our boots and jackets and headed out to Alki Beach in West Seattle. We walked along the beach for awhile and saw limpets, barnacles, and crabs. When the tide got further out, we really scored. Check out some of the cool things we saw:

And this is how a little girl who'd been sick the last several days finishes out her time in the sand. What an awesome day!
