Nasty Weather
Today our high during the day has been -1 degree. Add the wind chill to that, and I don't even want to know how cold it is outside! Anna and I are still battling colds and coughs, so we stayed home today, but Matt braved the cold and went to church. (By the way, although Calvin College and Seminary classes NEVER get canceled because of bad weather, some CRCs around here do cancel church services if the weather's nasty.)

Matt got all bundled up to blow the snow off the driveway after lunch. He'll never get any awards for fashion, but he was pretty warm out there. Thankfully, with the snow blower, he didn't have to be outside too long.

Hi Gail and Matt,
Glad to see you are feeling better! I heard there was a lot of snow this weekend, and the pictures sure show that is true! Would like to wish Matt well on his exams this week, be the greek geek! We had a nice service of installation for Bret & welcoming him and his family. Bit of news: Kendall and Derrick are in the musical this May, Kendall has the lead! It will be fun, and a challenge, even if he just "wanted to be a pirate!" (They're doing the Pirates of Penzance.) Derrick got 3rd place in the Golden bear pinewood derby yesterday. Allen did a great job on the computer, and Mickey Fernandes did the announcing again. It was a fun evening. Enjoy the snow, I better go!
Love,
Geri and Phil and all
I just can't resist telling you that it was 70 degrees in Ripon yesterday! :) Do you miss us? We miss you a lot!
Blessings,
Jill
Global warming? Ha! Was there something about negative degree weather and shoveling snow in Genesis 3? A result of the Fall, perhaps?
Enjoying the sunshine and warmth of CA,
the VMs
