We went to Matt's mom's house on Barlow Lake on Saturday. Anna typically doesn't like to be near the lake, but Papi took her down and took her socks and shoes off. She slowly made her way into the water and then had a blast throwing sand in the water. We fully expected her to take a header into the water because her feet kept getting buried deeper and deeper in the sand, but she didn't fall. She did get her dress totally soaked, but we had pjs along, so she was dry for dinner. On Sunday afternoon, we headed to the Calvin Nature Center. We loved walking among the trees and stopping at this pond to find some turtles. We're enjoying warm weather (it's supposed to get into the high 80s today) and love being outside! Anna's vocabulary and climbing ability are advancing quite rapidly. We're enjoying watching her figure things out and are amazed at what she can say (and repeat). She's adjusted very well to this move!
