Beach Time
We took a little time out this afternoon to go to Lake Michigan. It was around 60 degrees there and just a little breezy--a beautiful day! Anna got some sand and water toys for her birthday and we've been playing with them at home (with water) in the yard. She had so much fun playing in the sand today. Since I can't keep her out of the water when we play at home, I thought she'd like the lake more, but she seemed a little afraid of the waves. We did all get our feet wet, though. I think this will be a favorite place this summer!

Many of my friends owned summer homes on this exact stretch of Lake Michigan beach in Holland. It's the "coast" I grew up going to! I love your pictures and I love that even in West Michigan you've found a beautiful place to escape.
so not fair!! The beach looks wonderful and the weather sounds great. It's warming up here too!
