Our Week in Review

Here are a few highlights from our week. We had car trouble on Sunday. Matt missed church to wait for the tow truck to take the car to a shop. (Five days and way too much money later we got it back.) The weather was nice over that weekend though, so we took advantage of that and spent a lot of time outside. Anna had her second picnic on the front lawn.
She loves being outdoors. She's playing in one of our recycling bins. She would love it to be a sled, but (at least for Mommy) thankfully, there's no more snow.

We took a nice long walk at Calvin's nature preserve. Matt and Anna even did a little geo-caching there.
On Monday, we went out for breakfast and to Meijer Garden with Matt's family to see the butterflies again.
Monday night and Tuesday, my sister and her kids came over. Anna absolutely loves playing with them. She learns all kinds of things from these big kids! She was so sad when they left! She cried when they all piled into their van and pulled out of the driveway.

We made our own fun at home the rest of the week. We got a few things done around the house and took walks and played outside when we could (it was a little rainy this week). Our budding artist even took some time to do a little coloring--guess she ran out of paper! The best part of the week, though, was having Matt home with us!
